She couldn't contain her excitement. This was like her wildest fantasies come to life. All at once, too.
She met him off the train, showing him what she knew of the city on their way back, feeling his presence right there next to her. It was surreal.
She introduced him to the staff and saw her mother settle him into the room next door. She blinked a hundred times, just to make sure that this was really happening and that she wasn't dreaming. "Come see the outside."
They walked into the garden, shivering slightly in the cool air.
"I cannot believe you're here.."
He looked at her and smiled "Me neither. And in the room right next to yours."
She grinned up at him "So do you plan on entertaining visitors after hours, sir?"
"Yes, of course. I've already been to these famous kothis and booked my wares."
"Eww.. They're icky. I'll get you an alternative. And you won't have to pay, even."
She looked at him, she couldn't believe he was here.
They got through dinner, the parents and sister making conversation where the two of them lacked the ability to. They played a game of taboo, chilled with the family, and eventually, yawning and stretching, they all retired to their respective rooms.
She waited till the snores from her parents' room were loud enough to be real and then texted to find if he was awake. It was very believable that he'd be asleep, exhausted by the trip and the day and... He was awake. Softly, she slipped out of her bed and crept over to the connecting door. The lock slid open and she was in.
They locked the doors, covered the windows and clung together.
"I can't believe you're here. I can't believe we're here.."
"I know, I know.."
She reached for his face, running her hand over his cheek and pulling his head down so she could finally get that kiss she'd been dying to get.
"Listen.."
He looked at her. "I've always wanted to know what it would be like to do this in the winter.."
He laughed at her "It's still not winter, you know"
"Tch, yeah, I know... But it's cold.."
He pulled her top off "And now it's colder.."
She smiled and returned the favour, savouring the warmth of his body, the warmth of his arms around her.
They retired to the makeshift bed on the ground, driven there by a creaking bed and the cold air.
As he maneuvered into place, she suppressed a moan. It had been weeks. Okay, maybe ONE week. But it was never enough, this.
He moved rhythmically, swiftly, both of them getting frenzied towards the end. As they lay together on the ground, covered by the blanket, she kissed any part of him that she could reach.
"Hah, you're on my turf now, boy. Doomed to do as I ask.."
He tickled her mercilessly for that one. And then settled down to running his hands along her torso, causing ripples of goosebumps to run along her, like the ripples that ran through him every time she ran her freezing fingers along the nape of his neck.
She snuck back to her bed as her parents awoke and fell asleep, cuddled inside her blankets; she could feel the smug glow around her like another layer of bedclothes.
