A Story

The fingers creeping up her back
Shivers shoot up and down her limbs
The fine down she hopes he cannot see
Stands up to be counted, because it's him.
Hands held, hurriedly abandoned
We don't want to get in trouble, do we?
But the distance eats into the joy
Being with him needs confirmation.
She needs to know that it's still real
She needs to know he's not another daydream
She needs to feel him near her
He's her shield, he's her drug.
Kisses snatched in the dust
It's been too long, too damn long
Passionate, paranoid, hidden
Catchphrases of their relationship.
His hands under cover, hers caressing
Breath quickening, legs getting weaker
His lips at her neck, shivers running through both
Her hands now seeking cover.
Footsteps sounding on the wood
Push them apart in a hurry
The cold rushing in to remind her
Of his recent nearness
The coldness, shivers that she hates
With a passion she reserves only for this
Those painful reminders of want
When he's not around.
The ache in places she shouldn't have discovered yet
The remembrance of him
Near, in, around, so warm and real
The sweat, the breath, the insane tickle
All a part of the experience
She can't believe how lucky she is.

Cloak-and-Dagger

Secret assignations have a certain charm about them, do they not?
There's no high more potent than that from a clandestine meeting or a stolen kiss. There's no high better than a clandestine meeting of a stolen kiss with the one person who makes all the blues turn to a beautiful, classy grey. There's no high better than seeing that person, talking to them in public, holding hands chastely, talking to everyone else and to each other like nothing but a slight preference exists, but knowing the truth all along. Maybe it's just me, but how does it matter what the universal truth is? I think so, I get my high, and he doesn't hate me yet. All's well in the world.

After the Break

It was dark outside by the time they slipped inside the door. She remembered what she'd felt like as a kid when she waited and waited for her birthday so that she could get at the books she knew were coming. This was so different, but the feeling was the same. She waited long enough to ascertain that the house was empty and the strange sounds were really not human. He had barely shut the door behind him and she knew it was irresponsible, but she couldn't wait any longer.
"Hey.. Are you sure the door's properly closed this time?" She had a strange compulsion to make inane conversation.
"Eh, if it's jammed, we'll just wait for people to get back home. They'll be glad to meet you."
She grimaced at him, leaning against him, savouring the wonderful feeling she got just by being near him. "No thank you. I do NOT want to hide indefinitely in the bathroom again."
God, she just wanted to kiss him! She dug her face into his chest and inhaled deeply. Bliss.
She raised her head and he brought his face down to meet her as she stretched up to him, and they kissed. It was like the first sip of water when you're tired, it was like the first taste of something you've been craving for. It was everything she'd been wanting for a very long time.
They broke away and looked at each other. They'd managed to move into his room, now, somehow. He moved to shut his bedroom door, and she walked up to him, unable to deal with the sudden chill after his warmth. "Too far.." She whispered as she reached up again.
The room was silent and all they could hear was the sea outside. He ran his fingers through her hair, down her back, up her sides; she moaned from the sheer want that she'd been fighting for the past month. His hands were like magic, distracting her while his lips moved down to her neck. He knew she would squirm and she did as he breathed on her neck, causing goosebumps to form on her arms. She parted his shirt at the neck, kissing his collarbone, biting his neck, inhaling his scent. He tugged at her tshirt and she nodded, almost while he pulled it over her head, as she unbuttoned his shirt and slipped it off. Finally. Finally, his back under her fingers, unhampered by clothes and the paranoia of the authorities walking in on them. They flopped onto bed, still exploring each other, still savouring every second that they had managed to get together.
Eventually, their jeans joined the pile of clothes on the floor, and all other stitches of clothing. He was such an irresistible creature, he was so amazing, he smelled so good.. His hands were magic, his mouth was as well.. She wanted him now. "Hey.. My turn" She whispered as she slid lower while he made his preparations. When she straddled him, she sighed in contentment. So good..
They moved together, sweating with the exertion. She, less than he did. The insane high she was getting, the feeling of every movement, the feel of his hands and his face in the crook of her neck, the fingernails he had recently trimmed, everything losing their self-possession of earlier and now moving as they wanted to. She felt her teeth bite his neck in an effort to not moan, she squeezed his back harder as they neared their finale. He lay down on her, panting, as she kissed his neck, enjoying the scent of him, enjoying his weight, enjoying it all.
Slowly, he extracted himself and headed off to clean up, returning to kiss her and hold her close. She loved this feeling; when he held her and looked at her and played with her hair. She felt surrounded by an impenetrable force, something that made her happy beyond belief, and it wasn't just because of the physical heights she was hitting. As she lay there, reveling in the wonder that was the lying there with him, his phone rang, prompting her to reach for her clothing. "Ey, wait.. Would you mind another round?"
She stopped. "But.. People?"
"There's still a little time..."
She moved closer to him. "Hmm, I don't know. It seems like cutting it a little fine, no?"
She kissed him, dropping her clothes back on the floor, running her fingers through his hair.
"Mmm... That"
